You will be required to submit a number of documents to enable the Beth Din to perform the necessary research in order to provide your certificate of proof of Jewish status.
Once you have submitted all of the required documents, you will receive your certificate within 5 business days. It can be processed more quickly if all of the documentation is provided promptly and the research process is straightforward.
Call the Beth Din Office to explain the situation and they will do their best to help you
get your certificate expeditiously.
To be certain that your documentation will be recognised and accepted by the Israeli Rabbanut, it is recommended that you obtain the certificate of proof of Jewish status
from the Beth Din.
You will need to provide the Ketuva of your maternal grandparents, and the unabridged
birth certificates of both yourself and your mother.
